Dr. R.V.Marathe, Executive Director & Head Institute of Reservoir Studies, ONGC
Dr.R.V.Marathe, holds two Master’s Degrees in Physics from Pune
University and in Mathematics from Gujarat University. He joined ONGC in
the field of Reservoir Engineering in 1978 and holds over 30 years of
experience in various aspects of Reservoir Engineering including Reservoir
Simulation, Oil and Gas field development and Enhanced Oil Recovery. He has
authored 25 technical papers for national and international journals and
developed analytical solutions to numerous real life reservoir engineering
problems.
He is currently ED – HOI – IRS Ahmedabad.
