Dr.Banwari Lal, Director (Environmental & Industrial Biotechnology), TERI
Dr. Banwari LaL is also Director & CEO, OTBL. In TERI he leads a team of 600 person R&D facility with over 150 PhDs in five locations around India. Dr. Banwari has developed a number of technological solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry. He received the National Petroleum Management Program Award in 2003. Dr. Banwari was a recent finalist for the World Technology Award, San Francisco. He has published over 25 papers and holds several MEOR patents. Dr. Banwari received his BS, MS and Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Rajasthan, India.
